Attitude

I have been studying attitude recently. Listening to amazing sermons and hearing testimonies. Here is what I learned that transformed my life.

That attitude is a key to the successes, blessing and honor we recieve. That attitude is the difference between failure and success. That the right attitude is the light thru the darkness, the strength thru the trials, the sunshine durning the rain! That is takes challenges and turns them in testimonies! That is allows you to stand strong durning the storms of life.

But be careful....for people are watching you! They see how you handle things and how you talk about people. If you say you are one thing, but show another you will bring doubts and gossip to yourself. If you act one way Sunday morning, but another Monday at work, they will doubt what you learn and question why you go to church or declare to be a Christian.

Even Christians are held accountable. But the more you walk in the word, the better your attitude becomes. The way you see people and challenges changes, and then the way they see you changes. The way you handle life is transformed in an amazing way! I used to be short tempered, and even now have to keep it in check when I am passionte about an issue. People knew I was active in my church, however my temper showed lack of control and my attitude and language contradicted what I claimed to be. I loved the Lord, and I strived to be a good person, but I had to be honest with myself. I had to see my faults and show the love of God. The only way to do that was to get control of the things that hindered others seeing God through me. The greatest growing pain was hearing a godly friend say that I handled a difficult situation with grace and strength that they didn't know I had. Attitude change makes a difference! They saw God through me and they witnessed Him change me. How great is that?

So set your attitude right! Set it toward GOD. Try to fine tune your feelings. I know I have said this before, but its so true....when you become more positive, its very freeing. Your attitude says alot about you. I want mine to say that I have a Savior I trust in and I want to share HIM with you. I want you to see what HE has done for me. I want you to know HIM like I do and I want HIM to transform your life. Would you like to know my Jesus? Would you like Him to transform you? It all starts with a prayer. God Bless.

Don't judge me for who I was, and the mistakes I made before and the ones I will make. I am only human and will falter. Instead, judge me for who I am today, who I can become, and where I am going b/c of learning from those mistakes. The journey is still going on. With God on my side, I pray I can make it the best I know how and show others just who I am thru HIM.
